The Inaugural Star Valley Quilt Trail 2017

The Star Valley Quilt Trail is a unique quilt show featuring quilt exhibits in 5 towns along Scenic Byway, highway 89 in the Star Valley of Wyoming.

Visit the towns of Afton, Thayne, Star Valley Ranch, Etna and Alpine for quilts and vendors. Enjoy gorgeous quilts and spectacular scenery.

Enter your quilt in this judged quilt event, cash prizes! Our judges, Stevii Graves and Linda Taylor both internationally known award winning professional quilters, teachers, authors and judges.

Ricky Tims will be here for a super seminar and concert.  Ricky, a rock-star in the quilt world, a bestselling author, enthusiastic teacher, award-winning quilter, fabric designer and talented musician!

To finish it all off, this Quilt Trail weekend will be capped off by a total solar eclipse on August 21st. Take our Solar Eclipse Challenge and create a 42 x 42 inch quilt in the theme “Solar Eclipse” then enter it for a chance at a cash prize.

About The Star Valley Quilt Trail

Star Valley Quilt Trail Quilt ShowStar Valley Quilt Trail is an event organized by quilters from Star Valley, WY whose goal is to inspire the public about the art of quilting while showcasing one of Wyoming’s newest Scenic Byways.  The Quilt Trail follows a 40-mile corridor along US 89 in Lincoln County, WY.  Quilts will be displayed in the community centers in the towns of Afton, Thayne, Star Valley Ranch, Etna, and Alpine, all situated along US 89.  Exhibits will include a judged quilt competition, Quilts of Valor honoring our veterans, historical quilts, youth quilts, and a quilt challenge to create a quilt inspired by the 2017 solar eclipse.

Star Valley Quilt Trail will be held every two (2) years on the third weekend in August.
